The Way of Tea is not merely the preparation of a beverage. It is a practice of presence, a meditation in movement, an invitation to find stillness.
Chado draws from four centuries of Japanese tea tradition. Our space is designed around the concept of Ma \u2014 the purposeful emptiness that gives meaning to what remains. Every element has been considered: the temperature of the water, the angle of the bowl, the quality of the silence.
We source directly from family-owned estates across Japan, selecting only first-flush harvests. The relationship between grower and guest is sacred to us.
Our tea room seats eight guests. We hold two ceremonies each afternoon at 14:00 and 16:30. Private ceremonies are available for groups of up to four. Reservations are required at least 48 hours in advance.
